How often does film influence the office supply world? Probably one of the most memorable storylines to include office supplies was that of Milton Waddams and his red Swingline stapler in the cult classic Office Space.

After release of the film, fans began looking for the elusive red Swingline. Unbeknownst to them, that particular stapler was the invention of the film’s production designer, Edward T. Macavoy.
