Does your office have a break room? Store room? Bathroom? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you know you buy more than just “office supplies” (and if you didn’t answer yes to at least one of these questions, I don’t want to visit your office). Typically, break room supplies, cleaning supplies or bathroom supplies are the responsibility of the office manager to purchase, and frequently that involves making a trip to the store.

These are the supplies that are zero fun to buy – toilet paper, napkins, and brooms – but that you do NOT want to be without. Are you running to the warehouse club for these? Getting them at the grocery store? Did you realize you can buy them here, save the time and expense of going to the store and probably save money on the items?

Well, the bathroom is a great place to start with your commitment to green (insert own joke here). Toilet paper, facial tissues, hand towels – they are all available in recycled form. It’s an easy place to do a little bit for the planet with no cost to your company; in fact, if you’re saving the trip to the store, you might be saving money while you’re saving the planet!
