Home Office Foolishness
I've been addicted to the Style Network's hit home makeover show Clean House for the past few months. I just love seeing cluttered, messy homes transformed into sleek, comfortable living spaces.
I've noticed that almost every episode features a home office in dire need of organization. With more and more people working from home, cluttered home offices are taking over!
Here are a few tips to help you de-clutter your home office...
Prioritize. Put things you don't use every day out of the way, and keep things you use daily within easy reach. As you sort through your clutter, determine what things really need to stay. Pitch the rest in your circular file!
Organize. File your important documents instead of piling them up. Twice a year, go through your files and shred documents you no longer need to hang on to.
High Rise. If you're short on space, go vertical! Place less frequently used files and items above, where they are out of the way until you need them.
Fabulotize. Okay, I made that word up, but I find that I'm much happier in a space that looks nice, so throw a fresh coat of paint on the wall and make your home office workspace a place you really enjoy.
