The First Day of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Today marks the first day of National Breast Cancer Awareness month. For over two decades this month has been dedicated to building Breast Cancer Awareness and hope for future generations. Although breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed among U.S. women (excluding cancers of the skin), accounting for more than 1 in 4 cancers, we have reason to celebrate – over 2.4 million women living in the U.S. have been diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer.
