I’m the lady in the office who wears sweaters in July. No matter the stifling 95 degrees outside, the office thermostat seems to be stuck on Arctic. The hotter the day, the more my cubicle feels like an igloo. A few of my fellow coworkers concur – the office is frigid. But instead of bringing in wool blankets and heating pads (who would do that?), they bring in space heaters and place them under their desks. And from what I’ve gathered of their daily work wardrobes (skirts and tank tops), their heaters must be working effectively (much better than my heating pad). Ultimately, I may have to give in and buy a heater. After all, I only have so many sweaters in my closet.
