Did you wear green to work today? If you did, shamrocks and rainbows to you for donning the St. Patrick’s Day spirit. I am, unfortunately, not dressed in green today. I settled on a black turtleneck this morning. I know, black is basically the anti-holiday color. I really didn’t mean to wear black. But by the time I remembered what day was today (I’m not much of a morning person), I was already 15 minutes late for my date with morning traffic. No shamrocks for me.

The good news is I have another way to show my festive spirit! I’m going to pass around hand-made St. Patrick’s Day creations. These little hand-crafted “gifts” will surely show my coworkers that I do, in fact, enjoy St. Patrick’s Day. Plus, it’ll only take a couple of minutes (much less time than it takes to ransack my closet for the perfect green outfit).

I have in my possession one green highlighter, one green water color marker, and one green jovial smile. Just kidding, that would taste really bad (not that I would know from experience). I have selected Post-its as my medium (much better than my mouth). And now all I need to do is write a couple sayings and draw a few images on my Post-its. Then I’ll be ready to share my St. Patty’s Day glee with the rest of the office (without wearing a green jumpsuit)!
