I recently moved into my apartment (about a month ago). And I really like the way it turned out; It’s cozy and sophisticated in a Pottery Barn sort of way (my mom’s home décor sense seems to have rubbed off on me). In fact, everyone that’s ever come over has mentioned something about how homey or cute it is (even the cable guy!).

My office (it’s actually a cubicle), on the other hand, lacks the cozy feeling. With the exception of one picture (that’s pretty much hidden behind my computer screen), my workspace lacks personal touch. The scattered papers, overabundance of calendars and Post-its, and glaring overhead lights only make the space look and feel more like a workplace. So how do I make it more cozy and inviting? Well I’ve browsed through a few online catalogs, and have come up with a few simple ideas:

4) Make your office chair more comfortable and relaxing with a massage cushion. Sitting in the same chair eight hours a day everyday gets old and causes backaches.
