I think it’d be fair to assume that most of us use batteries on a daily basis. From cars, cell phones, computers, watches and TV remotes, many of our common daily activities require the use of batteries. And if one of those precious batteries “dies,” and is not immediately recharged or replaced, it could impact the entire day's activities. When you think about it, most luxuries we’ve grown accustomed to only function properly when powered by some form of energy, thus today’s focus (for those of you late to catch on) is the all-important battery!
There’s really no way to accurately denote the very first invention of the battery. Sure, you can say that Alessandro Volta invented the first battery in 1800 with his voltaic pile, or maybe the invention was first discovered by the Parthian Empire in 129 B.C. Either
way, the modern day battery is important for modern day living. I challenge you, to those of you who are bored and looking for something to do, compile a list of every battery use you can think of. There are so many!
To ensure your whole day isn’t ruined by a dead battery, I’ve provided a list of a few batteries and charges for you. This way you’ll always be prepared!- Specialty Batteries for watches and calculators
